But far from normal 🤷🏻♀️
It’s not something you can ever really prepare for and unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before.
It’s all new. And you are just thrown into it.
I don’t always know what I’m doing.
I don’t always recognize the person in the mirror right now.
I don’t always know who I am or who I’m supposed to be.
I don’t always understand
All I know is that I must have faith 📿
So have patience with me and myself as I figure out my place in this time and space...

Unfortunately, my #pregnancyjourney was a bit brutal. But I’m grateful to be on the other side and welcoming #healing in.
The symptoms of pregnancy were severe. I experienced being sick every second of every day for 9 months. Unbearable nausea all day, vomiting every 20minutes - even at night, weakness, malaise, no sleep, no rest, No breaks. No days off. No relief (until he was finally out of me)
I was diagnosed Severe hyperemesis gravidirum for all 9 months 🤢
And then diagnosed pelvic girdle dysfunction at approximately 4 months when the groin pain kicked up a severe notch.
And then diagnosed with Pubic symphysis at 4.5 months. When the pubic bones separated and I was barely able to walk, bend, stand, dress myself, etc. Basically, from this point on, I was on strict bedrest the rest of the time.
I didn’t even know women could be this ill from pregnancy! Who knew! 🤷🏻♀️
After barely being able to move in almost a year and not been able to do anything that remotely resembled me or even normal human behavior.
Today, I’m just trying to figure out how to live life again while figuring out how to take care of a baby too. All in a new body that doesn’t look or feel like the old one. #bekind #bepatient #besupportive
